If you're planning to vote in the upcoming general election, you might be doing more than just your bit for the country.

The Guardian reports that voting in the upcoming general election could also help improve your credit rating.

Britain’s credit agencies are urging people to ensure they're registered to vote in time for May 6th as it could also improve your credit status.
They claim that being on the electoral role can help improve your chances of getting a loan or credit card.

Another great way to improve your credit is with a prepaid card with built in credit builder.

The credit builder is essentially a loan, which is repaid with 12 monthly payments. When you successfully pay the credit builder off credit reference agencies are informed.
