Prepay Card Launched by Retailer Hobbs

Published on 1 January 1970 by Raffick Marday

Leading ladies fashion retailer Hobbs has launched it’s very own prepaid credit card.

Hobbs is a classic British brand with a rich design most of us all know as representing a quintessentially English look with a contemporary twist.

The brand sells itself as ideal for women looking for high quality, stylish clothes and footwear.

“We are delighted to now offer our customers the gift card as a payment method and gift alternative, and are looking forward to extending the functionality and continuing our strong relationship with Pre Pay Solutions by accepting payment on gift card online in the near future.”

The new prepaid card is redeemable in 60 Hobbs stores throughout the UK. The Hobbs card will offer gift cards in a number of denominations from £50 to £200.

PrePay Solutions has also launched a gift card with high quality retailer TM Lewin alongside its gift cards with Ted Baker and Debenhams.

Prepay Cards Grow in Popularity

A lack of available credit for those with a poor credit history has made prepaid cards more attractive to many consumers.

The fact that you can get a prepaid credit card without any credit checks and the fact that prepaid cards make it easier to stick to a budget because you can only spend the money preloaded onto your card, are reasons behind their growing appeal.

With all financial products though it is always advisable to shop around and compare prices and deals thoroughly online in order to find the best deals.
