Coalition credit card plans unveiled
The coalition government has announced formal plans about what they plan to do with credit cards whilst they are in power.
One of the key aspects of policy is to make credit card companies provide their customers with more information, so that they can see if they are getting the best deal.
They plan for this to be a 'uniform electronic format' which will present consumers with the said information for each credit card, so they can compare like-for-like details.
Experts have called the proposals "encouraging" that the government are looking to protect consumers from excessive credit card rates and other unfair procedures.
