Default Charges?
Late payment and over limit fees are £12. Returned payment fee of £12 if a Direct Debit or cheque is not honoured .
What is the minimum payment I need to make each month?
5% of your balance or £5 whichever is the greater.
Repayment Plan option?
Take time out - Expensive month? Once you have had your account for 6 months, and as long as your account is in order and you give us 7 days notice, you can take a payment holiday every six months. That's one extra payment holiday a year! Helpful if you've just had an unexpected expense. However, please note that interest will still accrue on your account.
Freeze your account -
Freeze your account for up to 2 years in the event of a difficult financial circumstance. While your account is frozen, you will not be charged any additional interest or charges and you will not need to make payments to your account. Please note you will not be able to use your Vanquis Visa Card whilst your account is frozen.
Where do i make a Complaint?
If you would like to make a complaint about your Card, please write to them at

They have procedures in place which will make sure they handle your complaint fairly and quickly. However if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint you can write to the Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR.

Your right to cancel?
Once you have signed, you will have for a short time a right to cancel this agreement. You can do this by sending or taking a WRITTEN notice of cancellation to Vanquis Card Customer Services, PO Box 399, Chatham, ME4 4WQ .
If you cancel this agreement, you will still have to repay any money lent to you. But if you repay all of it before your first payment is due, you will not have to pay interest or other charges.
