Splash Plastic card Overview

The Splash Plastic Prepaid card is a pay as you go Maestro card, can be used worldwide at over 9 million retail outlets and at over 900,000 ATM’s worldwide. Minimum age 10 years Before applying, any applicant under 18 years of age should have obtained approval from a parent or guardian; once you have applied it take max 15 days for your card to arrive once you have paid the activation fee. If we are unable to satisfactorily verify your identity and address from information provided by you at the time you apply for a Card we will issue you with a Restricted Card. There is a total spending limit of £1,600 per year (12 months starting on first Transaction) on Restricted Cards of which no more than £600 can be ATM withdrawals or a single debit transaction.

Although there is a monthly fee of £5.95 you can stay in control of your financial situation by knowing that there are no charges when you purchase any item in the UK and you can top up your card for free.

We test out the customer service centre of all prepaid cards and this has an exceptional level of service, an automated service point to direct you to where you want to go and a friendly customer service team to assist your needs. Calls to Customer Service only cost £0.10 from a BT landline, compared to some companies that charge £0.80 + just to get the help you need.

Splash Plastic Application Process

As you would expect secure website protection, the form takes an average of a minute to complete, make sure you have a form of ID before you start either your passport or driving licence. Once you completed the form you can either pay online or Splash Plastic will send you a letter in the post for you to pay at the post office.

Reload and Topping up your Splash Plastic

Top up at the Post Office or paypoint is charged at 30p per £10.00 or by Top Up Fee (Credit/Debit cards) 2.5% (Min £1.50 fee) As an additional feature you can top up by E-Pay. Minimum load is £10.00, single maximum load is £3500.00.
