Santander have been voted worst bank in the UK for several years. There is good reason for this. Their customer care is useless, the banks often have large queues with only half cashiers available, and they have a tendency to take money whenever they feel like it.

That said, this seems like the best deal for graduate accounts for me, because i can’t be arsed to change bank. and i need a loan.

by the way, you HAVE to go into the bank to make queries about the graduate account as they dont have anyone qualified to discuss it over the phone (but that’s no great surprise).

i rated 1/2 a star for customer care, i don’t know why it is showing as 1 star.

santander/abbey’s customer care isn’t worth a whole star.

but don’t take my word for it, join them and see for yourselves.
