Who can apply for this credit card?

The Liverpool MasterCard branded card is available to anyone over the age of 18 years can apply for a Liverpool FC card, online secure application will need to be completed. Ensure the you qualify for a Liverpool MBNA credit card with the application requirements below.

  • You are currently employed
  • You are over 23 years of age
  • You are a homeowner
  • You have an income of over £20,000
  • You do not have any recent credit defaults (CCJ’s, current arrears or missed payments) on credit cards / loans / mortgages
  • You are a resident in the UK and can prove residential addresses for the past two years

What are the default charges?

Liverpool FC credit card charge £12 for going over your credit limit, paying late, or payments that bounce.

What is the minimum payment each month?

If the credit card balance shown on your statement is £25 or less, it will be the total amount of the statement balance; or if the balance shown on your statement is more than £25, it will be whichever is the least of 3% of the statement balance or the total of any Payment Protection Cover charges, interest, handling fees and default charges plus £5, provided that it will always be at least £25. You can avoid additional charges by staying within your credit limit and ensure that your payments are received on time.

Your right to cancel

Once you have signed, you will have for a short time a right to cancel this agreement. You can do this by sending or taking a WRITTEN notice of cancellation to MBNA Europe Bank Limited, PO Box 1004, Chester Business Park, Wrexham Road, Chester CH4 9WW.  If you cancel this agreement, you will still have to repay any money lent to you. But if you repay all of it before your first payment is due, you will not have to pay interest or other charges.

Where do I make a complaint?

If you would like to make a complaint about your Liverpool credit card, you can call them on – 0800 062 062 – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have procedures in place which will make sure they handle your complaint fairly and quickly. However if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint you can write to Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR.
