Overview

The JustCash Prepaid Maestro Card is the newest and safest way to carry cash. Simply top up at selected N&N Cheque Exchange outlets, online or at any Post Office or PayPoint and you're ready to go. There are no credit checks and you can only spend as much as you have loaded so there will be no nasty shocks or charges due to overspending. The Justcash Card is a flexible ‘pay-as-you-go’ Maestro card. It can be used at over 9 million retail outlets worldwide. Anyone over the age of 18 can get one; once you have paid the activation fee it takes within 10 days for your card to arrive.

Main Good Points

The JustCash Prepaid Maestro Card is a prepaid card offering value for money. The card is only £7.95 to get, with a set monthly fee of only £3.95 and no transaction charges so that you can use as often as you like which is a great budgeting tool to manage your monthly spend - there are no late fees, no overlimit fees, no interest charges. Simply load your monthly budget on and spend safely.

Bad Points

Customer service line is £0.80 per minute from BT landline, use the online service instead it free.

Service

The customer service level is average. Calls to Customer Service do cost £0.80 from a BT landline so use the online facility where possible or Lost and stolen line is at a lo call rate.

Card Features

The Justcash card currently offer card to card transfer, which is only £1.50 from Justcash card to Justcash card, compared to western union this the most cost effective way of transferring funds for a fraction of the cost. Sharing money between cards can only be authorised by the primary cardholder. We have been informed by Justcash card that there are new benefits and discounts coming soon.

Application Process

The form takes an average of a minute to complete with an easy step by step guide and as you would expect secure website protection, make sure you have a form of ID before you start either your passport (digital passport no required) or UK driving licence. Once you completed the form you can either pay online or Justcash card will send you a letter in the post for you to pay. The Justcash card do not carry out a credit check or verify your employment as part of your application.

Using Abroad

The Justcash card prepaid card is very flexible able use worldwide including getting your cash via ATM’s, it will work in most ATM's worldwide and with most retailers with electronic terminals that accept Maestro® cards. Remember to take your PIN with you as they are unable to provide you with this over the phone.

Reload - Top Up

Cost of loading cash onto the Justcash Card is £0.85 to 3% at PayPoints (a network of 17,000 outlets across the UK) or online, you can also topup your Justcash card at the Post Office for a flat fee of only £0.75p. In addition you can top up at a N & N agent which is a flat fee of £1.25. The minimum load is £10.00 and the maximum single load is £500.00 to £1500.00* depending on reload point.
