HSBC Credit Card Review

The HSBC Card gives you a fast, convenient and reliable way to pay, 24 hours a day, wherever you are in the world. Convenience and flexibility – manage your credit card online using Internet Banking, over the telephone or at your local branch and with up to 56 days’ interest-free period – available on purchases when you pay your whole credit card balance (including any balance transfers) in full and on time.

Who can apply for this credit card?

Anyone who is aged 18 or over, That do not already hold an HSBC Card,  Are happy for them to undertake a credit register search and credit scoring. Can provide proof of address and ID can apply for a HSBC Card. We recommend you have your salary, banking and employment address details to hand to avoid any delays in applying.

The online application form takes a five minutes to complete with an easy step by step instructions and as you would expect secure website protection, make sure you have all the details with you as the application will ask you your personal details, details about your work, what type of card you want and finally confirm the legals, terms and conditions.

What benefits do you get with your Credit Card?

Reclaim 10% of your interest – if you hold Bank Account Plus or a Graduate Plus Account , They wi’ll refund 10% of any interest you pay on your Credit Card during the assessment period (ending 31 August each year)*.

  • 0% for 15 months on balances transferred within 30 days of you opening your account. 2.9% balance transfer fee applies, minimum £5.

What are the default charges?

£12 for exceeding credit limit, £12.00 making late payments and £5.00 returned payment.

What is the minimum payment each month?

Any payment protection insurance premium plus £5 or 2.5%, whichever is higher, of your remaining statement balance, or if less than £5, your statement balance. You can avoid additional charges by staying within your credit limit and ensure that your payments are received on time.

Your right to cancel

Once you have signed, you will have for a short time a right to cancel this agreement. You can do this by sending or taking a WRITTEN notice of cancellation to HSBC Bank plc, Arlington Business Centre, Millshaw Park Lane, Leeds, LS11 0PP.
