The cashplus prepaid gold MasterCard ® is the most established card in the prepaid market. With some unique features – it is the only prepaid card with purchase protection and creditbuilder . It can be used to shop online, in store and over the phone at over 26 million retail outlets and withdraw cash at over 1 million locations worldwide wherever MasterCard is accepted. You can get a cashplus card simply by being 18 years or older and resident in the UK and once you have completed your application you could receive your card as quick as 3 to 5 days later.
cashplus voluntarily provides all customers with free purchase protection, similar to that which credit card companies are required to provide under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. In the event that goods are not received or defective/damaged cashplus would dispute the transaction on your behalf and in most cases recover the funds already paid to the merchant and credit your account.
They also have some great services available, creditbuilder , which could help customers improve their credit rating simply by continuing to pay their £4.95 activeplus fee and cashback, a service which enables customers can earn whilst they spend.
cashplus offers pricing plans to suit individual customer needs. Activeplus is a pay monthly plan where by you pay a fee of £4.95 per month and in return get your purchase transactions FREE. This plan is suitable for customers who plan to use their card frequently, 5 or more times per month.
cashplus have also cut their UK cash machine charges by more than half, and are now amongst the cheapest at just 99p. Plus the price of additional cards has been slashed and is now only £4.95!
To tell you the truth I couldn’t find one bad point about the Cashplus Card it has won several awards for the best prepaid card
cashplus have an exceptional level of service and this is proven with the many customer service awards they have won. Customers are able to service their card in 3 ways:
Customer Service – listen to the automated service to change your pricing plan, listen to your balance, obtain your PIN, plus much more. Or speak to a Customer Service agent if more help is required.
Secure Members' Area – log in to view your online statement, report a transaction dispute, trace a missing payment, add additional card holders and update your contact details.
Text Message - If you're out and about and want to find out your balance or last 5 transactions you can text cashplus and they will text you back the information you need.
cashplus customers are automatically provided with free purchase protection in case the goods are not received or the seller goes bust, free fraud protection in case the card is lost or stolen and chip and PIN security. cashplus then voluntarily offer customers with extra ways to enjoy and benefit from their card with services such as creditbuilder which could help to improve a customers credit rating simply by continuing to pay the normal £4.95 monthly active plus fee and cashback, a service where by customers can earn money whilst they spend.
cashplus have recently redesigned their application form. The new improved application process is much quicker to complete and provides support throughout the entire process.
Simply apply online, choose your preferred method of payment and receive your card soon after. If you pay by debit card, you'll receive your card within 3 to 5 days. If you choose to pay by cash, you will receive a confirmation letter in the post. This letter will enable you to pay for your card by cash at the Post Office and then your card will arrive within 7 to 10 days after payment has been received.
