Barclays online banking does exactly what it says. I can manage my accounts 24×7, transfer money, set up standing orders, check balances and transactions, search for payments, it offers faster payments. You do not require the card reader at every log on, and can view balances and transactions plus transfer money to other Barclays accounts without it.

I have been a Barclays customer for 20+ years. Since the introduction of the PIN sentry security sysetm, online banking is not what it used to be plus every time I log on, I get an advert to sign up for their e-saver account. There is no way of removing this screen and the buttons are placed to trick you into applying

Hey Having banked with Barclays essentially all my life since I set up my very first bank account with them over 7 years ago, I have never had a problem with them. In fact, if asked, I would have quite happily recommended them to anyone. The service I receive at my local branch is second to none cheers Lee
