Topic: tesco travel prepaid credit card for travel (Euros)
Hey guys,
This looks like the place to get some answers. I'm going to Austria next month and I am looking for a good way to take euros, without using my credit card and getting stung with the FX. Last time I visited my family there (in Bregenz close to the Austrian Bodensee - absolutely gorgeous in September) I took travellers cheques which was such a headache! My sister told me about a card from tesco which worked a treat - the prepaid Tesco Travel Money Card. She got a great FX rate and she could use it to buy stuff in shops and get cash. I found their website - but can't seem to apply for the card. I really want one of these (a euro one), so if anyone knows how to get it, please let me know.
Cheers
Ant

Anthony
there are now so many travel money cards available, With so many to choose you will get a better exchange rate than getting travel cash any way. Some of the best travel money card are the ones that have fixed rates especially as the euro rate is not strong at the moment. the Fairfx or the Caxton FX card are what consumers are buying.
Buy Fair FX Card
Buy Caxton FX Card

Re: tesco travel prepaid credit card for travel (Euros)
Hi Anthony - I have used the Caxton prepaid card previously and found them to be very good. I used their Dollar Card and when I in the future go to Europe, will be signing up for their Euro card - the rates of exchange are great and easy to apply, top up and use anywhere. Hope this helps you! - Also their customer service is good! Samuel
