Topic: o2 money card not accepted on paypal [ Started by prepaid in o2 Prepaid Card : 0 replies ]

A o2 prepaid card is not accepted on paypal or ebay this has been turned off by o2 so that it can not be used on these sites.

if you want to purchase goods you really need a debit card attached to a bank account for Paypal as these cards are not designed for two-way transactions, ie when money is paid back to you as a result of a sale.

There are some additional restrictions on the o2 money card which are paying a hotel deposit or use them at a pre-pay petrol station, as there is no guaranteed method of funding.

This is not just a restriction on the o2 money card but all prepaid cards.

Topic: Moneycorp card loading issues [ Started by prepaid in Moneycorp Currency Card : 0 replies ]

I obtained a Moneycorp card on your recommendation. It worked well in America but the only problem was that I was unable to load more money onto it online, so had to use my credit card for additional expenditure. Also, when I got on to their internet site I was unable to print out a statement or to log out of the account.

Getting in contact them was difficult, especially from a mobile phone, and too expensive.

When I finally managed to get them to phone me back to discuss the problems I was having, they did so at 4.45am and seemed amazed that there were time differences between India and the US.

Prepaid Cards are not attached or run by high street banks, so prepaid card providers pay for every card printed and sent to you known as fulfillment. The cost of the application is up to the prepaid card provider and is a way to recoup some of their cost back as a percentage of people that do buy never use it.

There are some free prepaid cards available which do not charge an application fee.
