MBNA Rewards is one of the best rewards scheme designed to give you a better return on your spending with a much wider choice of rewards. Using your MBNA Points card you can gain reward points for holidays to high street shopping, the ways in which you can treat yourself with MBNA Rewards at no extra cost.

Once registered for the credit card you’ll automatically receive MBNA Reward points for all your retail spending. In addition you’ll be able to take advantage of special offers and earn bonus MBNA Reward points at our carefully selected Rewards Plus Partners to boost your MBNA Rewards points total even further.

With the MBNA Credit Card you can have up to three additional cardholders on your account at no extra charge. You are able to add one extra cardholder during the application process. Any additional card holder must reside at the same primary address, and have a relationship of close family member (such as: spouse, parent, sibling or domestic partner). The main card holder is responsible for any transactions made by any additional card.

Who can apply for this credit card?

Anyone who is UK resident aged 18 or over with a UK bank or building society account.

  • Your bank sort code and account number
  • Employment and salary details
  • Your address history for the last 3 years
  • Details of current borrowings loans, credit cards & overdrafts.

The online application form takes a five minutes to complete with an easy step by step instructions and as you would expect secure website protection, make sure you have all the details with you as the application will ask you your personal details, details about your work, what type of card you want and finally confirm the legals, terms and conditions.

What benefits do I get with my Points Credit Cards?

  • 0% on balance transfers for 13 months from the date your account is opened (2.9% handling fee). For this great rate your balance needs to be transferred within the first 90 days of your account opening
  • 0% on money transfers from your credit card to your current account for 13 months from the date your account is opened (4% handling fee). Remember for this great rate you need to transfer money within the first 90 days of your account opening

What are the default charges?

Charges are £12 for going over your credit limit, paying late, or payments that bounce.

What is the minimum payment that I will need to make each month?

If the balance shown on your statement is £25 or less, it will be the total amount of the statement balance; or if the balance shown on your statement is more than £ 25 , it will be whichever is the least of 3 % of the statement balance or the total of any Payment Protection Cover charges, interest, handling fees and default charges plus £5, provided that it will always be at least £25 .

What is my credit limit?

They will choose your credit limit and tell you what it is. They may vary it at any time and write to let you know.

Where do I make a complaint?

If you would like to make a complaint about your MBNA Points credit cards provider, you can call them on – 0800 062 062 – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have procedures in place which will make sure they handle your complaint fairly and quickly. However if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint you can write to Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR.
