More credit card deals hit the market
Competition is hotting up in the credit card market with a huge increase in the number of companies offering zero per cent interest credit card deals.
According to financial information firm Moneyfacts there has been a 450 per cent rise in the number of groups offering at least ten months worth of interest-free purchases in the last year.
The report also found that a number of credit card providers, including Barclaycard and Egg, have launched interesting new reward programs for their customers.
Another positive move in the credit card market mentioned by the report is that from next year credit card firms will use customer's monthly repayments to pay off the highest interest first, saving consumers money.
