Help those without bank accounts
A consumer group is calling for the government to do more to address the needs of people that do not have access to mainstream banking.
According to Consumer Focus, nearly a million people do not have access to a bank account and the advantages that go with it.
The group says that it means they are unable to take advantage of the discounts available through paying by direct debit and buying over the internet.
