If you have a pre paid credit card already but you feel like you could do with a credit card as well, maybe for unexpected costs or bills, you might want to look at an offering from Virgin.
It's claimed people looking for 'breathing space' should check out the Virgin Money credit card, which boasts to being the UK's longest zero per cent balance transfer and purchase card.
If you do take out one of these cards you can take advantage of zero per cent on card purchases for 12 months, plus zero per cent on balance transfers for a year.
There's no annual fee with this card to be stung with; and up to 50 days interest free on card purchases, providing the statement balance is paid off in full.
If you want to keep a closer eye on your finances and not spend over your budget, a pre paid credit card is a great way to do that.
