A joint budget can lead to financial calm
Setting up a joint budget or bank account with your partner can reduce financial anxiety in your relationship.

This is the advice of financial expert Rachel Haig, who concedes that whilst it may not be the most enjoyable activity for couples, it could be one of the most important.

Ms Haig, of Morningstar.com, recommends that you should discuss fiscal priorities with your partner and identify short-, medium- and long-term goals.

You should also keep track of any fixed outgoings you have, such as mortgages, utilities, phone bills and the like.

One of the best ways to keep track of your budget and avoid debt would be to get a prepaid credit card. That way, you can only spend the money that you put onto the card, which should help you avoid arguments about over-spending.ADNFCR-2939-ID-19690771-ADNFCR
