More than seven in ten online bankers say they use their account password on other internet sites.
That's according to a new study by an internet security firm, which says using your bank account pass word on other non financial website could seriously increase the risk of attack on your bank account.
A spokesman said that the findings were 'very surprising' and reveal that consumers are not aware or are choosing to ignore security implications of reusing such important details.
Head of information security at Santander, Michael Paisley, "From the bank's point of view it has become very important we help our customers to protect their identity online".
