More of us checking bank accounts online
More than half of all internet users are now banking online.
It's the first time the service has reached the milestone in the 12 years since internet banking began.
In the first half of last year, 22 million people checked their main current account online, while the number of people doing things like making payments and transferring money over the phone declined to just 14.5 million.
According to research by the UK Payments Administration the most popular tasks people carry out on the internet are checking balances and statements, meaning bank customers seem to be keeping a much closer eye on their finances.
There's a warning though that as more and more of us take advantage of online banking, we need to stay secure by keeping passwords and PINs safe.
