Have your say on credit card plans
There are only a few days left for Brits to tell the government what they think of plans to help bring down credit card debt.
As a nation we owe £54 billion, and last October the Department for Business announced a set of proposals to try and reduce this amount.
They include increasing minimum payments, toughening rules on automatic credit limit increases and interest rate rises, and changing the way payments are applied - for example, it could mean credit card companies are forced to pay off the most expensive debt first, instead of the cheapest.
Everyone has the right to make their views heard on the plans and help decide how far they should go, but the deadline is Tuesday, 19th January.
