iTunes credit card warning
Millions of people could fall victim to credit card fraud after security experts highlighted problems with iTunes.

They point out that security procedures are so lax, the 125 million accounts on the site could easily be targeted.

Hackers could pretend to be users who have forgotten their passwords and when asked the security question – such as their mother's maiden name – they could find the answer on sites like Facebook.

Ben Smyth of Birmingham University says that this type of credit card fraud is becoming "increasingly common" due to the prominence of social networking websites.

When asked, Apple didn't say that they were going to alter their forgotten password procedure, but advised people who thought their credit cards had been used fraudulently to contact their provider immediately.ADNFCR-2939-ID-19794983-ADNFCR
