New 0% balance transfer card is now available by Virgin to assist people wishing to capitalise on their spending power on credit cards. The Virgin Money credit card which offers 0% introductory period on balance transfers for 16 months with a 2.98% balance transfer fee was launched in August this year and is a new credit card to their Virgin Money products.

As it features a zero per cent introductory rate on balance transfers for sixteen months it gives people the chance for people to transfer their credit card balance at a low rate and still use their existing credit cards.

Plus as you would expect from Virgin credit card, those who take advantage of this offer also benefit from a zero per cent introductory period on purchases, which lasts for the first three months assisting people to get through the christmas period.

With the UK economy still in recession, this could be a welcome announcement for those looking to save a money using credit cards allowing borrowers to clear their balance within the sixteen month introductory period.

Virgin Money launched back in 1995 by entrepreneur Richard Branson who this year also launched the new prepaid MasterCard to assist people in controlling spending.
