More rate cuts across Santander fixed rate
Santander has announced further rate cuts on a range of its two, three, four and five year fixed mortgage products by up to 1.10 per cent. These will apply from the 16th of September this year.
Aside from cutting rates across its fixed rate products, Santander is also launching a new three-year fix at 70% LTV at 3.19% with NO fees. Both of those products are part of the Homebuyer or Remortgage Solution services offered by the bank.
While the Remortgage Solution offers a free standard mortgage valuation, and either free legals or £250 cashback on completion, the Homebuyer Solution offers borrowers the added benefits of a free standard mortgage valuation and £250 cashback on completion.

“Cutting rates on a number of our fixed rate products is one of the ways we can achieve this; helping those homebuyers, whether they are first time buyers, movers or remortgagers, who need the added reassurance that a fixed monthly payment can offer over the short and longer term," continued Mr Cliff.
Empowering cashback offers
Santander also recently launched a new bank account offer where customers could earn up to £300 cashback and 5% in credit interest, as well as their new 123 Cashback Credit Card.
The new current account pays up to £300 cashback to customers who switch their main current account to Santander.
On top of this, users are rewarded with monthly cashback on everyday spending. Specifically, the card offers 1% cashback on supermarket spending; 2% on department store spending; 3% on fuel spending and an expected average yearly cashback amount of £176.
