Brits value cash back when choosing a credit card

September 13, 2011

New research reveals some interesting trends for British credit card users. Cash back, rewards or Air Miles offers are the top incentives for four out of ten Brits when looking for card providers.

British customers clearly like to save as much money as possible with their credits cards. This is probably why most Brits value the benefits of those cards that offer cash back deals in particular.

The latest research from a leading comparison site shows that 41% of Brits choose their credit cards based on the cash back, rewards or Air Miles deals.

The length of the 0% period was selected as a top priority by 25.1% of respondents, and having no charges for overseas facilities was the main concern for 19.8% of those questioned.

In addition, further data reveals that 60% of credit card users pay off their bills in full each month.
