New online banking service by Santander
Santander has launched a new online service that allows their costumers to manage all their bank accounts from one single platform. The move is designed to improve their banking security and to enhance the Santander services as a whole; claims the bank firm.
From this week, Santander costumers will be able to use a renewed online banking service that will benefit them in many different ways, claims Santander.
Safer banking and improved security is what the bank firm assures its clients will find in this new service. Working from a single platform, customers will be able to see information for all their Santander current bank accounts, savings accounts and credit cards in one place and subscribe to paperless statements.
Paperless statements will allow mailed statements to be turned off and all their statements stored online for easy access. Costumers will also enjoy from email alerts and a secure messaging service.
In addition, the bank has also updated its Online Banking Guarantee including a valuable new service. Now, if funds are taken from a customer's account without permission, Santander will pay back any loss incurred from fraud, up to the value of the amount fraudulently taken.
Santander 123 Cashback Credit Card
Just a few days ago, Santander also announced that from 5th September it will launch its new 123 Cashback Credit Card, which will offer customers cashback on their everyday spending - something that many British families would love considering the current inflation and market prices.
The main characteristic of the Santander 123 Cashback Credit Card is that users will be rewarded with monthly cashback on everyday spend. Specifically, the card will offer 1% cashback on supermarket spend; 2% on department store spend; 3% on fuel spend and an expected average yearly cashback amount of £176, says Santander.
The bank claims that it is the first card of its type to offer these cashback amounts on a monthly basis.
