Barclaycard reduces APR on Simplicity

Barclaycard reduces APR on SimplicityBarclaycard has reduced the annual percentage rate (APR) on its Simplicity credit card.

It has been put down to 6.8 per cent for both balance transfers and purchases.

The Simplicity card allows customers to make small and large purchases quickly and according to Which4u, the reduced rate is one of the lowest in the country.

Barclaycard has also changed rates on some of its other cards. The 0 per cent deal on balance transfers on the Platinum card has been extended to 15 months for new customers.

It also offers 0 per cent interest on purchases in the first 3 months.

Customers using Simplicity or Platinum can benefit from Barclaycards Freedom reward scheme, meaning they can redeem reward money in thousands of retailers across the UK.
